Invest in Indigenous-Led Initiatives:
Support Berry Medicine
Berry Medicine Native BirthWork Initiatives is an Indigenous-led organization grounded in community relationships, cultural knowledge, and collective care. We are dedicated to strengthening the health and wellbeing of Native families across Montana's seven Reservations, twelve distinct Tribal Nations, and urban Native communities.
Your Contribution Strengthens Our Mission
Our approach recognizes that birth, parenting, and caregiving have always been sacred responsibilities within Indigenous cultures, guided by values of kinship, collective care, respect for women’s leadership, and connection to land, language, and ceremony.
By donating, you help us restore vital Indigenous cultural practices related to pregnancy, birth, lactation, and early parenting. Your support directly advances our vision: a future where Native mothers, birth givers, babies, and their families thrive through culturally aligned maternal, infant, and child health and wellness initiatives.
As an Indigenous women-led organization, your generosity sustains:
Culturally Aligned Programs: Allowing us to honor traditional teachings and build a foundation for program design and implementation.
Community Engagement: Funding relational building with tribes and community members/leaders.
Essential Initiatives: Including our Indigenous BirthWorker Network, Lactation Support Spaces, and Peer-Mentorship Program revenue streams.
Every donation from individual donors, current funders, and potential funders ensures we can continue this intentionally designed strategy, rooted in data and research, to revitalize thriving Native communities.
