Family Birth Fund Overview

The Family Birth Fund is a new and emerging community resource being developed by Berry Medicine Native BirthWork Initiatives. While still in its early stages, the vision is to create a sustainable source of financial support that helps families access doula care when cost would otherwise be a barrier.

We recognize that many families desire additional support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum but may not have the financial means to hire a doula. The Family Birth Fund was created in response to this need and reflects our commitment to increasing access to culturally grounded birth support for Native and rural families.

As the fund grows through community support, partnerships, fundraising, and grant opportunities, we hope to provide scholarships or financial assistance that help families receive the care and support they deserve.

Current Status:

The Family Birth Fund is a new program in development. We are currently building awareness, seeking partnerships, and exploring funding opportunities to make this vision a reality.
