Enhance your conference experience with this engaging pre-conference training led by Dr. Amy Stiffarm, Executive Director of Berry Medicine Native BirthWork Initiatives. Grounded in the Cultural Safety for Indigenous Women and Birthing People Toolkit, this interactive session explores Indigenous health, the ongoing impacts of colonization, and practical approaches to providing culturally safe, respectful, and responsive services.

Participants will gain valuable knowledge and tools to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and better support Native individuals, families, and communities. This training is ideal for healthcare professionals, public health practitioners, educators, organizational leaders, and community-based providers committed to advancing equitable and culturally responsive care.

Please Note: This optional pre-training event requires a separate registration and fee from the MTPALs Annual Conference. Registration includes training materials, snacks, and beverages.
