Montana Indigenous BirthWorker Network

Berry Medicine facilitates and coordinates the Indigenous BirthWorkers Network (IBWN), bringing together Indigenous doulas, lactation counselors, recovery doulas, and maternal and child health advocates serving Tribal and Urban Native communities across Montana.

Created through Indigenous doula trainings, the network provides a supportive space for connection, resource sharing, collaboration, and peer support. Members meet virtually on the third Thursday of each month to learn from guest speakers, share knowledge, and strengthen their professional skills. Through these ongoing relationships and learning opportunities, the IBWN promotes culturally grounded maternal health practices and strengthens Indigenous birthwork across Montana communities.

If you are interested in joining and would like to be added to the IBWN virtual meeting invites. Please fill out the form below
